Multi Formats? WTF???

The decision to alternate formats was by no means an easy one. Before you complain, please allow me to explain how this decision will effect the players and why we made the call

  • 3 events per year will be X5 and Xball Lite formats.
  • The remaining events will be 7man format (5man for d3).

How did we come to this decision you ask?

In order to allow the participation of facilities that do not have 2 full size fields. Xball while fun, simply takes a lot of field time for games to play. With our decision to move the top tier division closer to an actual xball match in time, this adds further length to our already hectic schedules. We do not want to limit the amount of teams that can register for our events, as well as we want to ensure that each team will have a suitable amount of minimum prelim play. Therefore we feel 2 fields is an absolute MUST in order to give our players an acceptable race–to experience. We also feel that 7man events have lower cost to play, therefore a more accessible series for players on a budget. Not to mention the diversity it can add to your game.
