Announcing the next phase in B.C. tournament paintball.

The VPL is a brand new paintball league and organization that will begin hosting tournaments in the province of British Columbia for the 2012 season. Our key focus will be keeping tournaments accessible, affordable and amusing to the players and spectators of Vancouver B.C. and surrounding areas.

Many of you played in our previous incarnation, the "Ambush:Sniperz Streetball Series", and for that we sincerely thank you. You endured a year of trial and error, while we found out what works in B.C. paintball. We have taken all the knowledge we could gain from the 2011 season, and we will be "stepping up to the plate", in order to provide the players with what they both need and desire for 2012.

Changes from last year include, but are not limited to…

• Registration cards, and stat tracking of all players within the league.
• Series Prizes! Yes, at the end of the year there is a big fat trophy/prize.
• Referee Training School. Refs will attend a training seminar to be held in late February/early March.
• 3 divisions. D3 D2 and D1. Read more about them in the ranking section of our website.
• D1 will be Playing Xball Lite at xball events. Longer Games. Race to 5. Penalty Box. No Coaching.
• D2 and D3 will be Playing X5 at xball events. Race to three. Standard X5 Rules from last year apply.

The VPL Hopes you enjoy the changes we have made, as well as what we have planned for the 2012 season! We would Like to wish all the Paintballers in British Columbia luck in the 2012 Paintball Season. We hope to see you on the field!
